Mauro Colangelo is an award-winning composer and multi-instrumental musician with over 30 years of industry experience. Originally from Milan, Italy, he is also an accomplished drummer and has performed with international recording stars like Ricky Martin, Juanes, and Alex Baroni. He has produced music for some of the most recognizable brands (Sprite, Coca Cola, Ferrari, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Samsonite, Mattel, Reebok, Kinder, Nutella, Textron, Hasbro) and composed pieces for films, documentaries, and advertisements all over the world. Mauro also created radio jingle packages for some of the largest radio stations in Europe, including One FM, RDS, RTL, Radio Montecarlo, Lausanne FM, 105 FM, and more. A master of studio production, he has honed his skills by combining his knowledge of analog recording techniques with the latest digital workstations. 

Recent projects include composing the score for Ken Burns: Here and There a documentary about Walpole, New Hampshire, the place that Ken Burns calls home. Mauro composed the scores for many independent films such as Tiger, Inkubus, Anna, In Exile, Fixing America, Pell, Once (In My Life), and others. He also composed music for “The Ripple Effect”, an Emmy Award-winning advertising campaign. In 2020, Mauro had the honor of composing the string arrangement for “Il Confronto” and “La Parte Chiara”, two tracks by the famed Italian musician Marco Masini. Il Confronto” was a finalist in the 2020 Festival di San Remo. 

Mauro is a member of the team of musicians composing music and sounds for Q-Factory Music, the Los Angeles-based firm dedicated to licensing music for motion pictures and the television advertising industry. His work has been placed in productions on both ABC and Netflix.
